General Mobile Notary Services &
Correctional Center Notarizations

General Mobile Notary Services:

Service Agreement:

By engaging our general notary services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions:

Service Fee, Payment, and Travel Fee:

a. An agreed-upon service fee, inclusive of the notary's travel expenses, will be established prior to booking the notary services, whether through the Internet or by phone. Payment for notary services, including the travel fee, is due in full at the time of service, except in cases where the notarization takes place at a correctional facility.

b. For notarizations conducted at a correctional facility or hospital, alternative payment arrangements, which may include the travel fee, will be made in compliance with their specific policies and procedures.

Refunds, Cancellations, and Travel Fee:

a. All fees paid for notary services, including the travel fee, are non-refundable unless a cancellation is made in writing and sent to info@completenotarysvcs.com at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time.

b. By engaging our services, you authorize the presentation of your card information to your card provider in the event of a chargeback dispute. Any fees associated with chargeback disputes, including the travel fee, shall be the responsibility of the payee.

Appointment Cancellation or Rescheduling:

Please note that regardless of whether the appointment is canceled or rescheduled, if the notary arrives at the appointment, the travel fee will still be due and payable.

The following circumstances may lead to appointment cancellation or rescheduling:

a. Failure to provide proper identification or causing the notary to wait for more than 15 minutes for identification will result in cancellation or rescheduling of the appointment. In such cases, the travel fee will still be due and payable.

b. Delays exceeding 15 minutes caused by the unavailability of essential witnesses required for the notarial act can lead to appointment cancellation or rescheduling, with the travel fee remaining applicable.

c. In the event that the signer is unprepared for the notarial act, leading to significant delays beyond 15 minutes, the appointment may be canceled or rescheduled without a refund, and the travel fee will still be due and payable.

d. Signers must be coherent and willing to sign during the notarial act. If the notary determines that the signer's unwillingness or incoherence jeopardizes the integrity of the notarial process, the appointment may be canceled or rescheduled without a refund, including the travel fee.

Appointment Scheduling:

a. Notary services will only be assigned and provided upon prior payment or payment arrangements.

b. To schedule an appointment, a minimum of two hours notice is required, unless otherwise agreed upon.

Appointment Delays:

a. If the notary fails to arrive within 30 minutes of the scheduled appointment time, you may receive a negotiated discount prior to the services being rendered, but the services cannot be canceled.

b. If the notary fails to arrive within 1 hour of the scheduled appointment time and no services have been rendered, a full refund may be issued.

c. If the notary arrives 1 hour late and services are still rendered, you may receive up to a 50% discount at the discretion of management.

Identification Requirement:

Proper identification must be presented by all signers in order to perform a notarial act. Acceptable forms of identification include:

A Passport, Driver's License, or Government-issued Non-Driver Identification card that is current or expired not more than three years before the performance of the notarial act.

Another form of Government-Issued identification that is current or expired not more than three years before the performance of the notarial act and meets the following criteria:

i. Contains the individual's signature or a photograph of the individual's face.

ii. Is satisfactory to the notarial officer.

Miscellaneous:

a. These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the client and the notary, superseding any prior agreements or understandings.

b. Any exceptions or modifications to these terms and conditions must be agreed upon in writing.

c. The notary reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason not prohibited by law.

Please read and understand these terms and conditions before engaging our general notary services.

Correctional Center Notarizations:

Inmate Identification and Documentation:

a. Proper identification is essential for jail notarizations. In the event that the inmate does not have their Corrections Center wristband, an alternative form of identification, such as a face sheet issued by a sheriff or guard, must be provided.

Inmate Availability and Appointment Duration:

a. Please be advised that inmates may experience delays in being brought out for notarization. Our appointments are scheduled for a maximum duration of 1 hour, specifically for jail notarizations.

b. Should the appointment exceed 1 hour, a fee of $1.00 per minute will be applied to the final invoice for each additional minute beyond the initial hour.

Witness Requirements:

a. It is the responsibility of the client or primary contact to review the documents intended for notarization and ascertain whether additional witnesses, apart from the Notary Public, are required as per the document's specifications.

b. The client or the signer's primary contact must arrange for suitable witness(es) who meet the identification requirements outlined in these Terms and Conditions.

c. Correctional center sheriffs, guards, and staff are not eligible to serve as witnesses for inmate notarizations. Alternative arrangements must be made to provide a witness if required.

d. To ensure a smoother process, it is highly recommended, whenever feasible, to use forms that only require the presence of a Notary Public as the witnessing authority for the document.

e. Failure to provide a suitable witness or witnesses when the document requires additional witnesses may result in the cancellation of the notarization without a refund.

Payment and Refund Policy:

a. All payments are final and non-refundable. Once the payment is made for the notarization services, it cannot be refunded or reversed for any reason. Please review your documents and schedule the appointment carefully before making the payment.

b. Payment for the notarization services is due 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment. The client or primary contact must ensure that the payment is made in full within the specified timeframe to confirm the appointment.

c. If the client or primary contact has paid in advance through the provided payment link, a 4% processing fee will be added to the payment link fee.

d. To receive the notarized documents, the client or primary contact must come prepared with sufficient cash, credit or debit card to cover the final balance of fees, which includes any additional charges resulting from extra time required during the notarization process, shipping of documents, or any other relevant costs. Alternatively, if the client or primary contact is paying through a payment link, the final invoice must be paid in full before the notarized documents can be shipped.

e. In the event that the appointment is canceled or rescheduled by the client or primary contact or for reasons beyond our control, any additional fees already incurred by that point will still apply, and they will not be refunded.

f. If the notarization service cannot be completed due to unforeseen circumstances or non-compliance with the witnessing guidelines, any additional fees already incurred, including the processing fee, will be considered forfeited, and no refund will be issued.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in adhering to our payment and refund policy. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us for further clarification.

The Notary will always respect and uphold your confidentiality and privacy while adhering to all legal requirements.
